TRANSFORMEX Sp. z o.o. was founded in 1993. It started as a company producing laboratory current transformers with accuracy class 0.05 and primary currents from 0.1A to 120A, designed for calibration of electric power meters.
Currently, we design and manufacture various types of devices within the field of electrical engineering: personalized transformers in silicone insulation, current and voltage transformers with a wide variety of applications and specialized laboratory measuring equipment.
We mainly specialize in untypical constructions, produced in short series and intended for operation in extreme conditions, e.g. in very low or very high temperatures, high humidity or installations with very high short-circuit currents.
We equip short-circuit endurance testing laboratories with current transformers for measuring short-circuit current with a very high aperiodic component with a decay time constant.
Our devices are used in power plants, mines, other industrial facilities and in professional power engineering. All of our products have passed necessary tests and have obtained appropriate certifications of recognized institutions such as the Institute of Electrical Engineering and the Institute of Power Engineering in Warsaw, compliant with the requirements of the Polish Centre for Accreditation.
Current and voltage transformers for measuring purposes are calibrated in the Central Office of Measures in Warsaw.
We cooperate with the most important power engineering companies in Poland, design offices and universities.
A greater part of our devices has been patented.
